Ukiah, California
(pronounced you-ky-uh)
Ukiah seems to be a pleasant town and the city government has nurtured an abundance of trees in the downtown. This small town enjoys a scenic location between 2 mountain ranges. But there is nothing unusual or distinctive about the town - no interesting architecture was visible. It may be a nice town in which to live, but as a day trip or weekend destination it is lacking in interest. Ukiah is adjacent to state Highway 101, approximately 125 miles north of San Francisco.
