Winters, California

This small town of Winters is approximately 25 miles west of Sacramento, just off the 505 freeway.  The town is near Lake Berryessa, which provides hydroelectric power and recreation for the area.  Live entertainment is available each week in the heart of Winters at the Palms Playhouse.   Winters is 13 miles from the University of California at Davis.  If Napa Valley is too snooty and pricey for you, give Winters a try.
