Yountville, California

Yountville lies on Route 29, approximately 12 miles north of the town of Napa. There is nothing old about this town, but it is a high-quality community. One hotel near the restored Yountville train station offers lodging in old railroad cars. Lincoln Theater Napa Valley is located on the historic grounds of the California Veterans Home in Yountville. Originally opened in 1957, it has recently undergone a $22 million restoration to become the premier performing arts center in Napa Valley. The town is surrounded by vineyards, but then so are most of the towns in Napa Valley.
