Idaho Springs, Colorado

The Argo Mine tunnel is still visible from this small town.  In the 1800's, this gold mine was the source of wealth for the Idaho Springs area.  The town is named after the nearby geothermal hot springs. Idaho Springs is on the north side of Interstate 70, only 20 miles west of Denver.
