Vail, Colorado
|
|
The buildings in Vail are architected to mimic the gingerbread look. Vail is certainly not a historic town, since it was founded in 1962. Nonetheless, it is a very high-quality small town community with breathtaking scenery and great restaurants with every imaginable cuisine. This small town is also unusual in that the central village is pedestrian-only. Vail has hosted numerous world ski championships. EARNS OUR HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION.
