The first day I was there, I lost my hotel key four times, then, by the time I finally stumbled back to my room, I was incapable of putting the key in the key hole. We could achieve a quick victory with our War On Terror, if we would bring the fanatics down here for a two week vacation. Key West is the southernmost city in the continental United States. Its warm winter locale is the reason it was chosen as the Winter White House of President Harry S. Truman. Key West is 160 driving miles southwest of Miami and 106 miles north of Havana, Cuba.
