Founded in 1565, St. Augustine is America’s oldest town. Its architecture reflects old-world Spanish influence. Numerous museums are available to visitors. This small town is crowded on the weekends, but good planning has resulted in ample, convenient parking and restroom facilities. The St. Augustine Amphitheatre is a venue for outdoor concerts and other large gatherings on Route A1A. The Amphitheatre seats 3,493 persons.
