Acworth, Georgia

There are enough restaurants and retail shops in this small town to make it worthwhile as a pleasant daytrip for Atlanta residents. Acworth's nickname is 'The Lake City' due to its proximity to Lake Allatoona and Lake Acworth. Acworth is home to Kennworth Park, where the Kennworth Bandits and World Series Champion Kennworth Blast Softball Team play. This small town can be found just west of I-75, 25 miles north of Atlanta.
