Cartersville, Georgia

|
Several nice restaurants and interesting retail stores can be found in the historic district of this small town. The one blemish to the otherwise attractive downtown commercial district is the intrusive and noisy overhead viaduct. Cartersville attractions include the Booth Western Art Museum, the Pine Mountain Trail and the Etowah Indian Mounds. The world's first outdoor Coca-Cola sign, painted in 1894, is located in downtown Cartersville on Young Brothers Pharmacy's wall. Cartersville can be found on Route 61/113, just west of I-75, 30 miles north of Atlanta.
