Morris, Illinois


Morris is the county seat of Grundy County and is situated along the Illinois River. The 61.5-mile-long Illinois and Michigan (I&M) Canal is adjacent to downtown. It is paralleled with a crushed-limestone pedestrian towpath that extends from Rockdale to LaSalle. Although Morris hosts numerous annual festivals, the largest and most popular is the Grundy County Corn Festival.
