If you live in Stanton, you can paint your house any color you want - as long as it's white. This small town in southwest Iowa is the home of TV personality ‘Mrs. Olsen’ in classic commercials for Folgers coffee. To celebrate this theme, the small town constructed two water towers to replicate a coffee pot and a coffee cup/saucer. The two water towers can hold over 3 million cups of coffee! The Swedish Heritage and Cultural Center is located in Stanton. But unfortunately, the downtown commercial district is all but abandoned.
