DISQUALIFIED.      

The swimming scene in the Hollywood film Picnic (1955 starring Kim Novak and William Holden) was filmed in Sterling. This small town is the home of Sterling College. Sterling appears to be a nice, clean town, but there is not enough of interest in this 'burg for us to recommend a visit.
