Kentucky's Hooterville Junction. Glendale is a cute small town railroad whistle-stop. While it is somewhat limited in amenities, it does have a few antique stores and other shops, and is just 2 miles off Interstate 65. Glendale's Spring Fest is held each May and the Glendale Crossing Festival is celebrated in October. The Whistle Stop is the most frequented restaurant in Glendale and as its name suggests, is situated along the railroad. It's specialty is the one-and-only Sugar Cream Pie.
