Minden, Nebraska
DISQUALIFIED.
After visiting Minden, we somewhat-reluctantly disqualified this small town. The architecture in town is mediocre and there were several signs of decay such as plywood windows. But the town is not without amenities. These include the Harold Warp Pioneer Village, the Minden Opera House and the Rainwater Basin Wetland, just southwest of town. Minden is only 12 miles south of I-80 in central Nebraska.
