Seward bills itself as Nebraska's Fourth of July City, having celebrated this event since 1868. This small town is the home of Concordia University, which describes itself as "a Christ-centered school preparing students to be servant leaders". Seward has an attractive amphitheatre and courthouse square with brick-paved streets. The town appears to have some Mennonite influence and it is the county seat of Seward County. Seward can be found on Route 15, five miles north of Interstate 80 in southeastern Nebraska. |
