Arroyo Seco, New Mexico

The Spanish Village of Arroyo Seco, know locally as simply 'Seco", is located 7 miles north of Taos just below Taos Mountain. Though small, this village has a dozen shops including galleries and enough amenities to make an overnight stay worthwhile. If you enjoy unique experiences, try staying the night nearly outside in an authentic tipi. The mountain climbing school and area ski resort bring outdoor enthusiasts year round. The Church of the Most Holy Trinity was completed in 1834, and has recently been restored. This small town can be found on NM route 150 just north of US 64.
