This impressive small town is approx. 30 miles southeast of Syracuse and is the home of Cazenovia College.  This school is a private, two- and four-year, independent liberal arts college with an enrollment of 800 students in associate & baccalaureate programs.  Just west of downtown is Cazenovia Lake, bordered by three parks.  One of these, Lakeland Park, is where the weekly Summer Concert Series is held. The town was founded by John Lincklaen, an agent of the Holland Land Company, and was named after Theophilus Cazenove, Lincklaen's boss.
