Everest of all baskets is the 7-story, 180,000 square foot Longaberger Corporate Headquarters – recognized as The World’s Largest Basket by the Guiness Book of World Records. The inmates in the Dresden asylum are serious basket cases. And you thought a basket was just for picnics. Dresden Days is held each summer and features a week-long Giant Sidewalk Sale. In the 19th century Dresden was an important trading town on the Ohio and Erie Canal.
