Millersburg, Ohio

Millersburg is the county seat of Holmes County, in Ohio’s Amish country. The best glimpses of Amish farm life can be seen on the rural roads east of Millersburg. Historic Downtown Millersburg is a Heritage Ohio Main Street Community. This small town has 8 antique stores and each summer holds its Antique in the Alley (and sidewalk) sale where 30-50 vendors merchandise their antiquities. Each week in August, the town holds its Historic Hotel Millersburg Courtyard Concerts. In 1824, Charles Miller and Adam Johnson surveyed the town. The town became the county seat the following year. The town is named after Mr. Miller.
