Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania

Bloomsburg is best known as the home of Bloomsburg University, recognized by U.S. News and World Report magazine as one of America's Best Colleges 2008. It has an enrollment of 7,600 undergraduate students. Through a quirk in state legislation, this small town claims to be the only incorporated town in Pennsylvania. Bloomsburg is home to the Bloomsburg Fair, which is the largest fair in the state. The two counties surrounding Bloomsburg contain 25 covered bridges. The Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble has been in operation since 1978. This town is the county seat of Columbia County.
