Bell Buckle, Tennessee

As you approach this small town, you can’t help but marvel at the affluence of the surrounding countryside. The hilly terrain is dotted with large, expensive houses that appear to be 3,000 – 5,000 square feet of living space. Many are surrounded by large pastures with miles of white fences. This area is known for Tennessee Walking Horses. The affluence of this area is reflected in The Webb School. This prestigious institution is a college preparatory boarding and day school which plays an integral part in the ambiance of the town. Bell Buckle is also well known as a center for antiques, quilts, and various handmade crafts. The town hosts two yearly festivals: the RC Cola & Moon Pie Festival and the Webb School Arts & Crafts Fair. Bell Buckle has the distinction of being the smallest town in Tennessee to be a Tree City USA. We recommend Bell Buckle as an interesting day-trip destination or stress-reliever weekend getaway. |
