Leipers Fork, Tennessee
(pronounced lee-pers)
If Leipers Fork weren’t so convenient to Natchez Trace Parkway, we would not recommend this small town. The town appears to be prosperous, but is limited in amenities. Historically, Leipers Fork served as a way station for travelers on the Nashville to Natchez National Road. The focal point and main gathering spot of this town is Puckett’s Grocery and Restaurant. The name of this small town derives from the Leiper family, who settled much of the land along the creek passing through the village. The Old Tennessee Soldiers to Settlers Trail passes thru Leipers Fork.
