Comfort, Texas

The abundance of stone buildings in this small town is a reflection of Comfort's German Freemason founders. Today, many of these structures (including the movie theatre) house antique and other specialty shops. There are three wineries in the surrounding countryside. Much of the original town site is included in the National Register of Historic Places. This small town is conveniently located just off Interstate 10.
