Llano, Texas

NOVELTY VISIT.      

This small town is the county seat of Llano County. Bald eagles make their home in Llano County during the annual winter migration. Nine miles (14 km) east of Llano on Highway 29, a family of bald eagles can be viewed from the roadside during the nesting season. An extensive exhibit of artifacts, both Indian and early Texan, plus a large display of area gems and minerals are on permanent exhibition at the Llano County Museum.
