Wilmington, Vermont

Wilmington is located on Route 9 in the Deerfield Valley of the Green Mountains in southern Vermont. It is a small town of about 2,500 year-round residents. Its population swells with second-home residents and visitors during the fall foliage and ski seasons, and holiday weekends. Village walking tours are held each Saturday in July and August. These afternoon walks are conducted by members of the Historical Society of Wilmington to educate the public about the history of the town and its buildings. The Bears in the Valley program is responsible for all of the cute bear statues that line the sidewalks in Wilmington.
