You can enjoy the nostalgic look of old architecture that Columbus provides, without fear of tourism crowds. Because of the vintage streetscape of the town center, downtown Columbus has been used in several film productions, including a bank robbery for the  Johnny Depp movie Public Enemies. The downtown was made to look like the 1930s for the film. The historic Poser House was used as a brothel for the movie. With over 200 century-old commercial and residential buildings, Columbus presents a realistic portrait of the late 19th century. The Farmers & Merchants Union Bank was designed by famous Chicago architect Louis Sullivan. With over 82,000 square feet of displayed antiques, the Columbus Antique Mall claims to be the largest in Wisconsin.
